Another Movie for C & L

Chip and I can go months without seeing a new movie and now we have seen 4 this week! Last night we were invited to a Premiere showing of "The Ultimate Gift" with James Garner. It was a special showing put on by Pinkerton Wealth. It will come out in theaters later this spring. It is about a rich spoiled kid who is forced by his grandfather's will to learn the value of work, family, challenges etc. Well done, feel good type movie.
We rented videos of: "Yesterday", sad movie about AIDs in Zululand, "Tsotsi" sad movie about AIDS and poverty in Johannesburg and "The Devil Wears Prada" sad movie about the shallow fashion industry in America. Ok, so the Devil movie isn't sad, we just needed something to lighten the other movies.

I highly recommend the "Ultimate Gift" when it comes out. Yesterday and Tsotsi was fun for Linda and I to watch. The movies had subtitles and the lanquage the people were speaking was very close to Sesotho, I was fun to hear that lanquage spoken again. Plus, much of what was depicted brought back strong memories of my experience, right down to the tin cups they drank out of.

I read the ultimate gift. I got the book from Pinkertons. I never got invited to the movie, though, and I'm a client for goodness sake.
